It is exciting that you are considering bringing Start Smart Stay Safe (S4) into your school community. S4 is a partnership between the Calgary Police Service, Calgary Board of Education, Calgary Catholic School District, and Mount Royal University’s Centre for Child Well-Being.

We would like to ensure that you and your school community have a clear understanding of what S4 is, have clear expectations of roles and responsibilities, and know what S4 can offer your students, teachers, and families before you begin your S4 journey.
